THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

1. Who this policy covers

SNO Cabs is operated by AT Leasing. This policy covers people visiting the SNO Cabs website and customers using the SNO Cabs app. You can contact AT Leasing about this policy or a privacy request using the details below.

2. Visiting this website

This website does not have a booking form, account registration or payment checkout. It does not set advertising cookies or include analytics trackers. Fonts and images are served with the website rather than loaded from a third-party tracking service.

Your browser sends information needed to request a page, such as your IP address, browser information and the time of access. The hosting service may process this information to deliver and protect the website. Contacting support by phone uses your telephone provider and the support channel’s own records.

3. Information used in the app

Account and profile information can include your name, mobile number, email address, date of birth and account identifiers, depending on the details you provide.

Journey information includes pickup and destination addresses and coordinates, scheduled dates and times, booking status, driver assignment, ride history and fare or payment records. Saved addresses are used to make repeat bookings easier.

If you use support or safety features, relevant information may include your messages, booking references, selected trusted-contact names and phone numbers, safety preferences and trip-sharing details.

Device and service information can include notification identifiers, app and device details, crash reports and diagnostic information used to deliver notifications, resolve faults and protect the service.

4. Why information is used

Information is used to verify your phone number, manage your account, arrange scheduled rides, calculate and display fares, show available journey updates, process supported payments, provide support and safety features, and send service notifications.

Relevant records may also be used to investigate disputed charges, detect misuse, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. A request to use a feature is not permission to use your information for unrelated advertising.

5. Location, contacts and notifications

With your permission, location information helps you choose pickup and destination points and use available journey or safety features. You can change location access in your phone settings and enter addresses manually, although some features may then be limited.

When you choose a trusted contact using the contact picker, the selected name and phone number support that feature. Only share another person’s details when you are authorised to do so.

You can control notification permission in your phone settings. Turning off notifications may mean you miss a booking or driver update; check your ride in the app.

Where an in-car camera view is offered, access is limited to an authorised ride session. Confirm the feature’s notice and availability in your app before using it. Not every vehicle has a camera, and this feature does not guarantee that a recording is available.

6. Who may receive information

An assigned driver receives the information needed to fulfil the journey, such as relevant rider contact and pickup or destination details. When you share a journey, the recipients you choose receive the information provided by that sharing feature.

Service providers help operate maps, notifications, diagnostics, payments and communications. The current app includes Google Maps, Firebase Crashlytics, Expo notifications and Zoho Payments for relevant features. They receive the information needed for those services and may also handle information under their own privacy terms.

Information may be disclosed where required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or where necessary to investigate misuse or protect people’s safety. We do not sell your personal information.

7. Payment information

Supported payment services process the information needed to complete a transaction. SNO Cabs uses payment references, amounts and status to associate a payment or refund with your account and journey. Do not send full card details, passwords or one-time codes to support.

8. Retention and security

Account and journey information is retained while needed to provide the service and for applicable legal, payment, dispute-resolution and security purposes. Records that must be kept for those purposes may remain after an account-deletion request.

Retention depends on the type of record, whether the service is still being provided, outstanding payments or disputes, and applicable legal requirements. Contact us to ask which information is still needed when you request deletion. Deleting an account does not necessarily remove records that must be retained for these purposes.

The app uses protected connections and access controls to reduce unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security. Contact support if you suspect misuse of your account.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can update supported profile details and manage saved addresses in the app. You can change device permissions in your phone settings. Withdrawing permission may limit the feature that needs it.

For an account-deletion request, open Settings in the customer app and select Request account deletion, or email info@atleasing.in with “SNO Cabs account deletion” in the subject. You may also ask about access, correction, withdrawal of consent or other rights available under applicable law.

Support may need to verify account ownership before acting on a request. Explain the request and provide only the information needed to identify your account; do not send passwords or login codes. If you are unable to access the app, email or call AT Leasing using the details below.

Send privacy complaints or unresolved requests to info@atleasing.in with “SNO Cabs privacy request” in the subject. Explain the issue and include a way to contact you. This does not limit any right to seek help from an authority or forum available under applicable law.

10. Children and account eligibility

The app’s current terms require account holders to be at least 18 years old. This is an account requirement, not a statement that all passengers must be adults.

Any arrangements involving children must follow the applicable booking requirements and legal safeguards. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an account without appropriate authorisation, contact support.

11. Policy updates

Updates will be identified by a revised date. Material changes should be brought to your attention through an appropriate website or app notice, with consent obtained where required. Check the version relevant to the service you use.
